The Russian artist Vladimir Vorobjov was born in 1950 in
Kremenets (Uraine).
In 1982 he graduated at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. For seven years
he worked as an art director at the "Molodya Gvardiya" Publishing
House in Moscow, where he illustrated many books. Since 1984 his works have
been exhibited at art fairs and art exhibitions.
In the eighties Vladimir Vorobjov started to develop a special interest in the art of
etching. Nowadays he is a specialist on coloured etchings, a difficult technique, using
one or more plates.
Vladimir is a member of the UNESCO Professional Artist Union and the Union of Journalists
of Russia (graphics department).
Works by Vladimir Vorobjov can be found in museums, galleries and private collections in
Russia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Great Brittain, The Netherlands and Italy.
