Halfling

PUNCH <person>: You punch <person> in the knees!

ROAR : You let go of your best roar! Others see: <person> squeaks like a timid mouse! (defaults to guild-based roar if your guild has a special roar.)

EXHALE: Used with cigar or pipe after <inhale>

  • <RINGS>: You exhale three perfectly rounded smoke-rings.
  • <LINES>: You exhale a <smoke picture>.
  • <BALLS>: You exhale three perfect balls of smoke.

GRUNT : You make a noise that sounds like you just inhaled a tart

SHAKE <person> (of a race that's taller): You grab <person> by the knees and shake them!

Skra'Mur

BLUSH: You blush a splotchy, mottled color.

CHIRR : You chirr contentedly to yourself

FLIRT <self>: You display your fangs. Others see "your curl back your lips and display your fangs briefly"

HISS Uses:

  • HISS: You hiss
  • HISS...: Works like <'> and <">, but with extra S's. Must have "s"'s in the sentence to work. (Ssso your messssssage would look like thisss)
  • HISS (while hidden): You hiss menacingly from the shadows
  • HISS AT <creature/person>: You hiss at <target>
  • HISS AT <yourself>: You hiss in frustration
  • HISS S: You make a coughing sound in the back of your throat (must be a capital 'S')

PURR: You make a clicking noise in the back of your throat

SNARL <self>: You lash your tail in agitation

TAIL <emote>: By itself gives list of tail emotes. Emotes:

  • EM: You undulate your tail back and forth just above the ground. Others see: <person>'tail undulates passively.
  • AHAR: You undulate your tail back and forth in an agitated fashion. Others see: <person>'s tail undulates in an agitated fashion.
  • OLOH: You whip your tail, slapping its tip angrily on the ground. Others see: <person>'s tail slaps angrily at the ground!
  • SIH: You make casual circles in the air with the tip of your tail. Others see: The tip of <person>'s tail makes lazy circles in the air.
  • TEY: You hold your tail rigidly against your back. Other's see: <person>'s tail stands rigid against his/her back.
  • S'SA: You slowly lower your tail to the ground. Others see: <person> slowly lowers his/her tail to the ground.
  • S'UH: You hold your tail in a kind of "U" shape. Others see: <person>'s tail forms a kind of "U" shape."
  • HAT: You casually roll your tail up and down. Others see: <person>'s tail casually rolls up and down.
  • MUR: You stand proudly. Others see: <person> stands proudly, his/her tail resting firmly on the ground.
  • PEH: You stand humbly. Others see: <person> stands humbly, the tip of his/her tail cradling his/her left ankle.
  • KHO: You angle the tip of your tail toward the ground. Others see: <person> angles the tip of his/her tail toward the ground.

MEOW: You make a very strange gurgling noise. Others see: <person> makes a very strange gurgling noise.

WHISTLE :You shrilly whistle

Rakash

BARK <self>: (must be in moonskin): You bark loudly!

GROWL...: (must be in moonskin) Works like Skra'Mur HISS speak, pulls L's from the sentence, makes them R's, and exaggerates the R's. no need for R's in the sentence. Too many R's in the sentence: <person> makes a pitiful wheezing noise.

HOWL: (must be in moonskin) Usually non-Rakash hear: <person> howls!, and only if they are in the same room with you. Prydaens can hear howls and sort of understand. Uses

  • HAPPY: You let out a bright joyous howl, full of life and vigor. Others see: <person> howls joyfully, head thrown back to the sky. From a distance, others see: you hear the distant, but contagiously cheerful howl of <person>.
  • KATAMBA: You howl melodiously, serenading the black moon. From a distance, others hear: You hear the distant howl of <person> as he/she serenades the black moon.
  • WARNING: You howl sharply, warning the pack of danger! Others see: You hear the distant warning howl of <person>!
  • LONELY: You let out a mournful howl. Others see: <person> lets out a mournful lonely howl... does he know you're here? From a distance, others see: You hear the distant, lonely howl of <person>.
  • <DEAD PERSON>: You howl a mourn for a fallen comrade
  • CHALLENGE: You howl your challenge to the other (males/females) of the pack! Others see: You hear <:person> in the distance, howling in challenge!
  • COURTSHIP: You let out a (ululating/beguiling) howl, calling out to the (males/females) of the pack. Others hear: You hear the (resonant masculine/beguiling) howl of <person> in the distance. Non-Rakash hear: <person> throws (his/her) head back and howls, sounding vaguely like a lovesick dingo with the whooping cough.

MEOW <self>: (must be in moonskin) You make a weird yowling noise. <self> You mutter something about cats to yourself.

PURR: (must be in moonskin) You make a contented growling noise. Others see: <person> makes a loud "RrrrRRRrrrRRRrrrr" noise that you recognize as one of contentment.

TAIL: (must be in moonskin) You wag your tail enthusiastically.

Prydaen

HISS <person/self>: You hiss at <person>. When done to <self>, your hair will stand up in anger while hissing. While hiding, it will be from shadows.

PURR <person/self> (while hiding)>: You purr. You purr happily in <person>'s general direction. Purr <self> will result in a purr with eyes half shut. While hiding, if you purr at someone, they will hear a happy Prydaen nearby.

TAIL <emote><person/creature/object/self>: By itself, gives usage. Emotes:

  • LASH <self/item/person(while hiding)>: BY ITSELF: You lash your tail. SELF: You lash your tail wildly! ITEM: You lash your tail in agitation at a(n) <item>! <person> lashes his/her tail while staring directly at a(n) <item>. PERSON: You lash your tail while staring directly at <person>! <person> looks you in the eyes and lashes his/her tail! PERSON (while hiding): You lash your tail while staring directly at <person>! That wasn't too effective -- no one can see you! <person> sees: You hear a loud thumping nearby. LI>
  • CURL <item/person (while hiding)>: BY ITSELF: Your tail undulates lazily through the air. ITEM: You curl your tail protectively around a(n) <item>. PERSON: You curl your tail around <person's> shoulders. PERSON (while hiding) You curl your tail around <person's> shoulders. That'll give him/her a shock!" <person> sees: You feel something brush your shoulders! Eek!
  • SMACK <item/person (while hiding)>: BY ITSELF: You snap your tail in annoyance. ITEM: You snap your tail in annoyance, your ears laid back. PERSON: You smack <person> across the shoulders with your tail! PERSON (while hiding) You smack <person> accross the shoulders with your tail! That'll give him/her a shock! <person> sees: You feel something smack you across the shoulders! OW!
  • BRUSH <self/item/person (while hiding)>: BY ITSELF: You brush the air with your tail. Others see: <person>'s tail swishes through the air. SELF: You brush your shins with your tail. ITEM: You brush your tail across a(n) <item>. PERSON: You brush <person>'s shoulders with your tail. Others see: <person> playfully brushes the tip of his tail against your shoulders. PERSON (while hiding) You brush <person>'s shoulders with your tail. That'll give him/her a shiver! Others see: You feel something brush your shoulders! Yikes!
  • TICKLE <self/item/person (while hiding)>: BY ITSELF: You swish the air with your tail SELF: Only a Prydaen would think to try and tickle him/herself! Others see: <person>'s tail twitches, a mischievious look on his/her face. PERSON: You tickle <person> with your tail! PERSON (while hiding): You tickle <person> with your tail! That'll give him/her a giggle! Others see: Something tickles you out of nowhere!
  • FLICK <self/person>: BY ITSELF: You flick your tail in annoyance. Others see: <person> flicks his/her tail peevishly. SELF: You flick your tail defiantly! PERSON: You flick your tail at <person>. Yes, those <person's race> SHOULD know better.... Others see: <person> flicks his/her tail at you.

MEOW: <person/self>: Regular meow by itself, curious meow if to another person. Muffled mrrp sound when done to <self>. While hiding, others hear a cat meowing.

SHAKE <person> (of a race that's taller): You grab <person> by the knees and shake them!

Warrior Mage

CONCENTRATE <familiar>: Allows you to see the owner of the familiar.

FAMILIAR COMMANDS: All begin with <TELL FAMILIAR TO...>

  • DROP: The familiar drops whatever it is holding
  • FIND <player>: The familiar runs off to find <player>. May take a while
  • FOLLOW <player>: The familiar follows <player> around
  • FLY: If the familiar can fly, this command tells it to fly
  • GET <object>: The familiar picks up object, although small familiars may not be able to pick up much
  • GO <direction>: The familiar goes one room in the specified direction
  • LAND: If the familiar can fly, this tells it to land if it is currently flying
  • LEAVE: The familiar walks away (i.e., is no longer in the game, letting you do other actions)
  • LOOK: The familiar looks around it's current location (as per the normal <LOOK> command)
  • RETURN: The familiar returns to its owner
  • PERFORM: Makes the familiar do tricks (great crowd pleaser!)
  • SAY <message>: The familiar says the message (as if you used <'> where the familiar is, but it has a short round time)
  • SLEEP: The familiar goes to sleep (stays in the game but doesn't wander away if you don't give it commands)
  • STAY: The familiar stays where it is
  • STOP: The familiar stops doing its last command (i.e., stops following someone, stops watching, etc.)
  • WATCH: The familiar continuously observes its surroundings (as if you were the familiar; it's like you have two separate characters)

GESTURE <player>: casts a cantrip.

PERCIEVE <familiar>: Works exactly the same as <CONCENTRATE>

PREPARE CANTRIP <cantrip name>: prepares the specified cantrip.

SUMMON FAMILIAR: Summons your familiar. you must be holding a talisman.

Bard

APPRAISE <instrument>: Gives special appraisal information on instruments for Bards, such as condition of instrument, how clean it is, and whether or not it is bonded to a particular Bard.

CHANT <song>: Some enchantes are chanteded instead of sung or played.

CHORUS: Describes how bards can sing with each other

CHORUS STOP: Stop singing in chorus

CLEAN <instrument> WITH <cloth, etc.>: Used to clean dirty instruments.

HUM <happy / sad / cheerful / mournful>: For a Bard, you have a chance of affecting someone else in the room with the mood of your hum.

HISS: You hiss in a pretty good imitation of a S'Kra Mur.

PLAY Verbs:

  • PLAY: Shows you this list in-game
  • PLAY <instrument> (WITH <tool>) <how>: Plays an instrument the desired way. Some instruments need tools, like picks. <How> refers to how you want to play the instrument; this includes Gentle, Rapid, Fierce, Playful, Flashy, Slow, and Aimless.
  • PLAY <name of song> ON <instrument> (WITH <tool>): Plays a specific song.

PLAYACT: Works identical to <ACT>, except commands are given without parenthesis. Usable only by bards above certain circle.

SING WITH <player>: Allows singing in chorus

SONG: Similar to <SPELL>, this command shows a Bard what songs he/she knows, as well as what instruments can be used with the song.

WHISTLE <song>: used to whistle the opening notes of a known song.

Moon Mage

OBSERVE <clouds/sun/moon/constellation/planet>: You examine the celestial object, if it is visible; if it's not, you find out that it's covered by clouds, or not present. Non Moon-mages can do this too, but they get no special benefit. Note, for observing moons, constellations, and planets, the name of the specific celestial body must be mentioned.

PERCEIVE <spell book/moon/planet/moonbeam/person>: Spell book: gives you the amount of power for that book. Moon: gives you the amount of power for the moon (Xibar, Yavash, Katamba). Planet: shows you if any planets are within your range. Moonbeam: shows you all moonbeams cast in an area and the names of their caster (depending on skill level). Person: shows you if that person is a magic user, how much mana they are holding, and what spells are affecting them (depending on skill level).

POWER : Works exactly the same as PERCIEVE


PREDICT Uses:

  • PREDICT...: works like <RECITE>
  • PREDICT <weather>
  • PREDICT FUTURE <player>: random vision
  • PREDICT FUTURE <player> <offense/defense/magic/lore/event/enchantment>
  • PREDICT FUTURE <player> <handskills/bodyskills>

TELESCOPE USES:

  • OBSERVE <clouds/sun/moon/constellation/planet> WITH <telescope/spyglass/etc.>: Allows you to observe the celestial phenomenon with the optical device, if possible
  • CENTER TELESCOPE ON <clouds/sun/moon/constellation/planet>: centers telescope on object you wish to view
  • FOCUS TELESCOPE: do this before peering to improve your chances of learning something useful from the object.
  • PEER TELESCOPE: allows you to look through the telescope to make an observation.

Cleric

CLEAN <altar> WITH <cloth, etc.>: cleaning altars raises devotion level.

COMMUNE: You bow your head and grow still for a moment. Used to determine devotion.

DANCE: Done in front of an altar to increase devotion.

INVOKE <name of prayer/parchment>: Used to increase devotion. Once done, you will chant the prayer outloud.

MEDITATE: Used to tell your devotion, and on some quests.

PERCIEVE <person/corpse>: On <person>, you will be told how many favors they have. On Corpse: Will tell how long to auto-depart, memory decay (in ranks), and how many favors are on them, and any spells affecting them.

PRAY: Used to increase your devotion. Has roundtime.

PREACH: Works like <RECITE>, but also increases devotion.

Paladin

TRACE BOND <weapon>: Causes the weapon to return to the dead owners hand. Ineffective if its been away from the deader for to long.

TRACE GLYPH OF WARDING: Used to trace a glyph of warding over a dead body. When that person departs the items will be protected for a few minutes, and all he has to to is <TOUCH> the glyph to have all his items returned.

Empath

BRAWLING: Shock-free brawling commands:

  • BRAWL: sets you up to brawl. Type again to stop brawling.
  • GRAPPLE: you grab your opponent.
  • CIRCLE: You circle around your opponent. After successful GRAPPLE, can be used to throw them off balance.
  • BOB: Make yourself harder to hit.
  • WEAVE: Weave back and forth, make yourself harder to hit.
  • SHOVE: Break a grapple, or push them away.
  • FALL: Fall to thr ground, if grappled, hopefully dragging them with you.
  • TACKLE: tackle your opponent to the ground and pin them.

BREAK <person>: Breaks the transference link. Might have to type multiple times in order to completely break the transference of wounds.

PET <person>: Works the same as TOUCH <person>.

TAKE <person> <left/right> <body part/vitality/poison/disease> <part/half/most>: Allows transfer of wounds. Others will not see you touching them. Preferred since it reduces scroll.

TOUCH <player>: Used to create empathic link and to diagnose wounds. Sends you a wound list.

TRANSFER <person> <left/right> <body part/vitality/poison/disease> <part/half/most>: Allows you to transfer wounds. Others can see you touching them for each body part.

Ranger

APPROACH <companion>: Used when aquiring a companion.

ARRANGE <dead creature>: Works like skinning, except is harder, and you get a better skin if done successfully. Must have high skinning skill.

BESEECH THE <force of nature> to <task> [target item/creature/player]: Right now, you can only BESEECH THE WIND TO CLEAN, but others are coming. Must be a Ranger of a certain level.

FEED <companion food> TO <companion>: feeds your companions. Companions need to eat!

HOOT: You hoot, sounding remarkably like a real owl

HOWL: You howl like a wolf

PET <companion>: you pet your <companion>

ROAR: You release a guttural, bearlike roar!

SIGNAL: Used to command companions. They all start with SIGNAL <companion> TO... Uses:

  • JUMP: companion will jump into or out of your arms.
  • GET <item>: Companion will pick up item if it is able.
  • FIND <person>: Companion will go to <person>. If they are carrying an object, they will attempt to give it to them.
  • HIDE: Companion will hide.

SNARL

SIGN <signals>: Used for primitive sign-language form of communication. Ask a fellow Ranger for specifics.

TICKLE <companion>: you tickle your <companion>.

TRACK: <player/creature> sets you up to track. TRACK alone lets you track the previously specified being.

WHISTLE (if hidden): You whistle like a startled thrush/nightingale/starling

WHISTLE FOR <companion>: Calls your companion.

Barbarian

BERSERK: Used by barbarians to enter their berserk rage.

DANCE <swan/cobra/eagle/bear/wolverine>: Ability command

GRUNT : You make a disgusting grunting noise

ROAR : You roar like an enraged lion!

ROAR <Kuniyo/ Everild/Trothfang>: Lets the barb rally allies, scare foes, etc., depending on the type of <ROAR> used and the skills and attributes of the barb. Don't use in town, you'll be fined!

Trader

CARAVAN COMMANDS: (Used by Traders to lead animals/caravans; may not apply to all caravans)

  • TELL <caravan> TO FOLLOW: Makes Caravan follow your movements. They're not very fast, though.
  • TELL <caravan> TO LEAD TO <city>: Lets a Caravan driver take you to the named city. You can perform other actions in the meanwhile. Limited to trade routes (Crossing-Dirge and stops on the way, Ferry-Leth Deriel, possibly others)
  • TELL <caravan> TO STOP: Stops a caravan that is leading you
  • TELL <caravan> TO WAIT: Makes a caravan wait for you in that location while you run around
  • TELL <caravan> TO RETURN
  • TELL <caravan> TO GO SLOW(er): Slows down the caravan
  • TELL <caravan> TO GO FAST(er): Speeds up the Caravan

COUNT <self>: You carefully count your coins, hoping no one else notices. Others see: <person> looks around carefully, then greedily counts his/her coins.

GIVE <caravan> (when feed is in the right hand): Allows you to feed a caravan.

PAY <amount> <coin type>: This option of this verb allows you to pay dues in the coin of your choice.

RETURN <caravan/pack animal>: Allows you to return the <caravan/pack animal> at the guild stables.

SHAKE HAND <person>: You give <person> an enthusiastic handshake, trying to convey confidence and trustworthiness. What they see depends on circle or charisma, not sure.

Thief

BACKSTAB <creature>: Combat verb. Must be used while hiding, and on a standing, humanoid target. Requires a light or medium edged weapon.

CONTACT: ability command.

KHRI: ability command.

MARK: ability command.

SIGN...: Used to sign messages, functions like <'>, but requires a free hand.

TITLE HIDE: Hides Thief pre title from other thieves, the one in parenthesis. Type again to have it show

TITLE <PRE or POST> PRETEND <guildname>: Allows you to set your pretend guild titles. You can only do this once, it is permanent, so choose carefully.
