Sir Poisson

Fenadeir Fisher is a 14 year old dreamer working as a tavern keeper.  His family was originally from Mirana, but he left for Pandora with his father and mother when he was five, which was 9 years before the Mystic Guardian Story began.  His mother died on the trip to Pandora so he lived with his father, Jéromé Fisher for most of his life.  He also has an older sister named Celeste, who was left with her aunt, since there was not enough money to pay her way when the rest of the family fled.  He's unusual for someone living on Kwancha, since he can't use magic of any type.  Despite this his Theurgy can do just about anything magic can, but it requires specific items.

Fenadeir was living a fairly ordinary life until the day Janus Zeru showed up at the Manalene Inn.  At first he and Janus were constantly at each other's throats.  Janus treated Fenadeir like an enemy, but yet he chose to give him the gauntlet that allows him to transform into the Mystic Soldier Sir Poisson.  He didn't seem too thrilled with the idea of having to risk his life for the red-eyed child's problems, but he's persuaded into participating.  Eventually he becomes the leader of the Mystic Soldiers, which makes him as important as a Guardian.  The name Sir Poisson translates out to "Sir Fish", which is a joke on his name.  Janus always calls Fenadeir Fish, even when they become more friendly with each other.

Fenadeir has a very complicated history.  Being born a Fisher meant that he would be part of the bloody feud between his family and the DeShaut.  The DeShaut had sworn to exterminate the Fishers du Saint Lóreíné six generations ago.   They were successful in killing off many of the Fishers.  Jéromé had fled Mirana in hopes of escaping the DeShauts, but this failed.  For 9 years Fenadeir and his father were safe, but then the DeShauts found them.  Jéromé was killed, and their home was burned.  The now orphaned Fenadeir went to live with Azelle, who had been a friendly competitor of theirs, in the Five Torches Inn.

Fenadeir assists the Mystic Guardians, but also is the star of many sub-stories too.  His major enemy is Allecard DeShaut, who is specifically out to kill him.  He is also reunited with his sister, and brought back to his homeland during these stories.  Even with this going on he still spends a lot of time chasing after girls and trying all different careers.  He never seems to stay doing the same thing for very long, but he basically works as a tavern keeper.  He is usually found slacking off when he should be working, but no one ever fires him or is even hard on him.

Even though he usually works for the Mystic Guardians he's also been an enemy of theirs as well.  In the first story he was warned by a prophet that if he befriended Janus, that it would be his death.  At this point Fenadeir put his life above anyone else's so he tried to kill Janus.  Janus refused to fight him, and only survived because Fenadeir couldn't bring himself to kill someone who was downed and begging him to stop.  After that point Fenadeir supports Janus through the rest of his battles and risks his own life to protect him.

Fenadeir and Janus are still good friends even in the future.  Unfortunately, this is when the prophet's prophecy proves to be right.  Fenadeir is killed while trying to protect Janus's son, Charon, from the Leukimborians.
