Guardian Fire

Celia Taroi is the sweet 10 year old princess of Mirana.  She is naturally affectionate and well liked, but she never had the chance to meet many real friends.  With no close friends, and almost no family she's lived very lonely life.  Her mother died soon after giving birth to her, and she continues to feel guilty for this throughout the series.  This tears her up inside, but she rarely talks about it.  She was under the care of her father until he was assassinated by some angered lower classed people.  Her brother, Kamus Taroi, became King after their father died, but he soon started to lose his mind.  Kamus is a broken man, who can't handle his own life, let alone hers or the kingdom's.  Because of this Celia has had to take on many of his responsibilities just to keep Mirana from falling apart.  The strain of keeping her homeland functioning, and the complete lack of people for her to confide in has taken a toll on her mind as well.  She usually appears happy, but she's prone to extreme fits of sadness when all the pain she's suppressing escapes.

Celia is shown to be a Guardian during an attack on the Council of Nations.  Watching Janus and Shaela fight awakens her and Galea.  Though she's not the leader of any group of Guardians, she's in control of a very powerful element.  Her personality, and her element seem to almost be opposites.  She doesn't have a fiery temper in the least, and would do almost anything to avoid a fight.  Even though she's peaceful by nature, she does occasionally get angry.  As long as she's not hysterical she'll always try to cheer up the other Guardians when they are upset.  Even the enemies have said that she's such a nice, proper little girl!  She acts in an adorable, yet sometimes overdone way.   Her costume even stands out among the other female Guardians, since it has the largest bow, and the shortest, puffiest skirt of all.  It fits her personality well, though.

Celia is the only Guardian with an efficient long range weapon.  She isn't really much of a physical fight, and prefers to use magical attacks instead.  Her offensive magic is strong, but she also has a decent healing spell as well.  She probably has the  most balanced element of all.  All of her powers weren't enough to prepare her for Serphinese's Heartless Angels, and her soul is one of the first to be removed.

She marries Janus fairly young, and they have two children together.  The older of the two, Shila, is most well known since she's a Guardian.  Her only son is Janus II, who actually takes far more after her than Shila does.  Sadly though, she never gets to see her children grow up, since she's killed in an attack against Janus.  They were never really right for each other anyhow, and most people agree that Janus more or less settled for her (he really never goes farther than saying he was "fond enough" of her).  Even though he's with Lebauer in Neo-Continuity, Celia isn't left alone.  By the time Neo-Continuity exists Kalton finally got up enough courage to tell her that he loved her, and they are together.
