Economy: B+ |

With his deploy of 5 for power of 5 and ability of 6, Ben Kenobi is quite economical. Although 5 appears to be a high cost at first, this is more than compensated for by his other values. His immunity to attrition is also very nice and only makes him more economical. However, he just can't compare to some of the other ultra-economical characters currently out.

I like the image Decipher chose for Ben. It definitely captures his spirit pretty well. It shows his both his seriousness and happiness. That's one of my favorite scenes from that movie.

Game Text: A |
|
First of all, he only deploys on Tatooine, which is a major restriction. However, Tatooine is the most popular place so it's not as bad as it sounds. Secondly, his dueling bonus makes dueling more of an uncertainty for Mr. Vader. The best part of his game text is defenitely the build in, un-sensable Old Ben. Forfeit your highest-ability character there and revive them to satisfy all of your attrition. Furthermore, his immunity to attrition < 5 is also going to protect from attrition.

Overall Usefulness: A |
|
Ben Kenobi comes in very useful at Tatooine. From his dueling advantage, to his revival ability, to his deploy/forfeit ratio, Ben Kenobi can always help your situation. Considering Tatooine is the most popular planet, this guy is pretty easy to use. Also, he's a great senser, alterer, affect minder, and did I mention Jedi presencer?

Served Bail Organa during the Clone Wars. Saved Anakin's lightsaber until he was able to give it to Luke. Hasn't gone by the name Obi-Wan for a long time. |

This card is very useful. If Ben's fighting against a group of characters with 4 or 5 ability, they draw no battle destiny.

Definitely very useful if you have any intention to battle. An easy way to get tons of power!

Ben Kenobi is definitely one of my favorites from Special Edition. On Tatooine, he is simply the best. However, if you want to go anywhere else with him, Obi-Wan Kenobi or Obi-Wan With Lightsaber would be better alternatives. You may want to include one of them along with a Ben anyway, just in case you think you might want him elsewhere. He provides protection from dueling, and his revival ability is one of his major advantages.
