Below is the text of the game, with acompanying screenshots.  I highly recommend watching this sequence, as the pictures in the background are very nice.  There is a cool morphing transition effect between backgrounds.

Forgive the large images; I will make thumbnails when I get time.  Note that clicking on the image will link to the same image, without browser scaling.

Early in the 21st century, Cyberspace was declared the legal equivalent of Hardspace.

Virtual people dominated worldwide decision making.

In 2012, anarchist hackers injected a virus into the computerised world stock market.

The virus altered the virtual people, and systematically destroyed global financial structures.

Ownership was unprovable.

Corporate wars escalated over the next ten years.

Citizens were forced to choose either the slavery of a corporation contract, or the risks of living beyond the law.

The rise of street gang culture brought new dangers to city center war zones.

The government regained its authority by neutron bombing corporate headquarters.

Corps still found ways to fight each other without attracting the attention of the authorities.

Robots and remotes could be utilized to achieve company objectives.

The era of the Skyhammer began.

Flying one of the heavily armed Skyhammers was a prestigious job.

You have joined the Cytox corporation as a junior Skyhammer pilot.

Our competitors, Grubertech and CFC, are using remote military renegotiators which are causing us to experience negative territorial redistribution.

You will earn bounty for each hostile battle formation destroyed.

If we at Cytox do not see sufficient return on our investment in your training, we will terminate your contract and negate your viability.

The surplus Skyhammer liberated by your termination will be reused under federal regulation CB21031949 to equip a suitable successor.

It is time for you to commence operations as a Skyhammer. (need shot)
