November's game summaries

The Bolts got out to a two goal lead and still lost to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks 5-2. Mikael Renberg started the scoring in the first period. Jeff Norton added a power play goal that was to be Tampa's last. Ted Drury and Teeme Selanne both scored twice for the Mighty Ducks. The Lightning are on a team record losing streak, having lost ten games.
The Lightning lose 5-2 to the Las Angeles Kings in a fight filled game. The Bolts let in a shorthanded goal to open the scoring. Corey Schwab got the start in the net and as usual did not get much support. The Kings seemed to be laughing at the Lightning, which only serve to infuriate the already frustrated Lightning. Mikael Renberg and Brian Bradley had the goals for Tampa.
Tampa lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-1. Jason Wiemer got the only goal for the Lightning. Two of the Sharks' goals came off deflections of a Bolt's defenseman's skate.
The Lightning lost again with a score of 5-2. This time it was the Phoenix Coyotes doing the deed. Roman Hamrlik and Daymond Langkow got the goals for Tampa. The score was tied 2-2 going into the third period before Phoenix opened it up. The Coyotes got an empty net goal to end the scoring. Keith Tkachuk scored twice for Phoenix. The Lightning haven't won in 13 tries.
The New York Islanders spoiled the Lightning coaching debut of Jacques Demers. The Bolts lost 4-1. The scoring started early as the Lightning gave up a short-handed goal. Mikael Renberg showed up wearing the 'C' and Jamie Huscroft had a newly added 'A' to his jersey. Rob Zamuner kept his 'A'. Tom Chorske scored two goals for the Isles, including the short-handed one that opened up the scoring. Alexander Selivanov got the only tally for Tampa, scoring on the power play. Corey Schwab started in net for Daren Puppa, who was sidelined with the flu.
With less than one minute remaining in the game, the Lightning snatched defeat from the jaws of victory or a possible tie. Tampa started the scoring with Alexander Selivanov getting two goals in the first period. Philadelphia came back with one in the second and two in the third. Rod Brind'Amour scored two goals including the game winner.
Jacques Demers homecoming was not a happy one as Tampa got beat 4-1 by Montreal. The Lightning gave up a short handed goal and an empty netter. Mark Recchi scored twice. Tampa had a goal disallowed by a quick whistle. Jeff Toms had the only goal for the Bolts. The puck actually went in off his skate. The Canadiens were helped out by the goalposts as the Lightning hit the posts several times.
The Lightning finally get a win 6-3 against the New York Rangers ending a sixteen game winless streak. Rob Zamuner got his first career hat trick, scoring a short handed, empty net, and a full strength goal. Tampa scored four goals in the second period to take a permanent lead. With Jamie Huscroft in the penalty box for roughing, the Rangers asked to have Roman Hamrlik's stick checked. The stick was ruled to be illegal, giving New York a five on three power play. Adam Graves scored and the lead was down to 2-1. This night the Bolts did not quit and came back to make it 5-1 before letting in another NY goal. The only goals allowed by Daren Puppa were power play goals. Mike Keane got both tallies for the Rangers. Besides Zamuner, Jason Wiemer, Mikael Renberg, and Patrick Poulin also scored for Tampa.
Tampa is on a roll with another victory, this one 4-3 over Calgary. A hot Rob Zamuner lit the lamp twice and Karl Dykhuis and Alex Selivanov scored. The goal by Dykhuis was short-handed. and Selivanov's was on the power play. The Flames could only score 1 goal with a five minute power play when Paul Brousseau got a major and a game misconduct for checking Eric Landry into the boards from behind. Landry suffered a concussion on the play. It was the return to Tampa for former Lightning goaltender Rick Tabaracci who was traded back to Calgary in the off-season.
The Lightning forced a tie with Colorado 3-3 leaving the Avalanche winless in 7 tries in Tampa. Alex Selivanov, Jeff Norton, and Louie DeBrusk scored for the Bolts. Debrusk's goal was the first one for him since last January. The Lightning scored 2 goals in the third period to pull even with the Avs. Tampa is now unbeaten in their last three games.
Tampa lost to the Carolina Hurricanes 2-0. It was the Lightning's first trip to the Hurricanes' temporary new home. Corey Schwab played in net and held the Hurricanes scoreless until the third period. Schwab has not won yet this year. Sami Kapanen got both of the Carolina goals, scoring 13 seconds into the third period and with a little less than 10 minutes added an insurance goal.
The Lightning and the Flyers skated to a 3-3 tie at the Ice Palace in Tampa. Rob Zamuner, Mick Vukota, and Roman Hamrlik scored for Tampa. Daren Puppa played a great game in net, stopping 32 of 35 shots. Eric Lindros was held without a point. Chris Gratton made his first visit as a member of the opposition. He got an assist on a power play goal by Luke Richardson.
