Happy 15th Birthday CoCo!
I can't find a picture of our CoCo1... (the one with the grey case and flat keys) This is a CoCo3
I did find a picture of a greycase CoCo with a modified keyboard

We bought our first computer - a Tandy Color Computer - in early August, 1983. It was a 32K tape-based computer... yes, just 32K RAM... and it used audio tapes for program storage... and a TV instead of a monitor.
We still use CoCo occasionally... but only with Program Paks. We like MegaBug and Maths Bingo.
Recently I decided to search for some CoCo sites on the Web... I now have a CoCo emulator... I can make my very fast computer act like a CoCo... why???
... and I have this startup screen... which even has a flashing cursor like the real thing... (CLOADM means loading machine language program from tape... how would you like to load Windows95/98 from tape?!)
By the way.... a CoCo emulator running on a Pentium will be quite useless... the games are too fast! But our 486 almost had me believing it was a CoCo... with a mouse!
Extra note in September: some of the programs are too fast on a Pentium, but some are okay... and I was disappointed with my favourite CoCo game - Megabug - it doesn't play very well... it's 'jumpy'... so I guess I'll leave the real CoCo out for Megabug!
