Unit Lead, Application Management

·      Responsible for all aspects of application management for a client’s core merchandising system and data warehouse.  Responsible for the $4.5MM annual P&L.

·      Responsible for the successful operational transition from the existing team to a 25 person US- and Manila-based team.  This included establishing process to support incident prioritization and management, design and delivery, off-shore coordination, and SLA/OLA management.

 

 

Program Manager, eBay Product Development

·      Served as Program Manager for 6 projects, representing over $5.7MM in consulting revenue and over 9,100 man-days of effort.  All projects were delivered on-time and under budget through aggressively leveraging India-based resources.  Responsible for program P&L statements for each project.  Managed consulting, Accenture Technology Solutions, Services, and India Development Center workforces on all 6 projects, ensuring a smooth and blended-team delivery.

·      Served as the business owner of our India Development Center operations, consisting of 39 FTEs.  Revamped team structure, team responsibilities, training processes, and career development path resulting in a near-standalone project delivery organization.

·      Established and managed Skill Centers to drive process efficiency across the entire program.  Knowledge areas were QA, project management, product management, and application development.

 

 

CONNECTION TO eBAY ∙ San Jose, CA ∙ 3/02 – 4/04

Started in August 2002, Connection to eBay is an Accenture and eBay strategic partnership which supports the eBay channel by offering auction management, fulfillment management, and consumer support services.

Operations / Transactional Management

·      Managed an 11 person team plus an India-based service provider.

·      Responsible for processing 20,000 SKUs and creating 400,000 eBay listings; achieved $12 Million in sales by supporting 75 merchants including Sony, Sharp, HP, Clear Channel Entertainment, Surefit.

·      Streamlined operational processes which allowed for 9X efficiency gains within 6 months.

·      Instituted workflow tracking and management processes where none existed, resulting in lower turn-around time and higher quality services.

Business Strategy

·      Responsible for business analytics, driving sales and operations teams toward optimizing client margins while growing our margins.  Discovered and evangelized most critical business metrics, resulting in fundamental changes to sales qualifications, account management, and operations processes.

·      Served as the finance lead, in lieu of a CFO.

·      Managed the planning, functional design, training, and conversion teams for the first release of Agilent Technologies’ common internet architecture; previously, all business units had unique internet designs.

·      Led an effort to design and build a Marketing ROI tool based on a platform that includes Visual Basic, Excel, and Access. The application is part of a market offering that enables Accenture to assist clients analyze and prioritize their marketing expenditures across products, geographies, and brands.
