     Album  reviews: ----

    ---

    My opinion on the album:

I think the album was good, alot different from what he has done in the past but still dope as hell. The album starts off with the  song "living" which some of his "mind blowin" album lyrics were used, that song pretty much shows his new style.  The next song  "scars" has alot of meaning, he raps about his rough childhood and how he has lost all respect for his father and he is just going to  stay true to his real family, that song has to be one of my favorites, it has a great beat and the lyrics are straight from ice's heart.  Song four "f**k me" tells the world that you can bash him as much as you want but he's not going anywhere, he knows what got  him famous and he is thankful for that but there is way too much crititsim about it.  Song six "zig zag stories" the name speaks for  itself, just about getting high, pretty good song.  Song seven "too cold" is a hard core remix of "ice ice baby" although he leaves out  1/3 of the original song. its still good, the david bowie riffs are gone and replaced by some heavy guitars and his old rap flow is  replaced by more of a yelling.  I personly like the old school version better but nothing will top that.  Song 8 "prozack" is basicly  a  slower version of the song he did for blood hound gang "boom" the beat is different and it starts off alot slower but picks up about  half way through the song, a few new lyrics were added, but again, I like the older one better, it was just faster and better flowing.  The next track, "s.n.a.f.u" stands for "situation normal all fucked up".  I guess it means that he is back and won't stop untill he's  back at multi-platinum.and he is not going to be played.  Also, Jimmy Pop from blood hound gang raps the second verse.  It's a good  fast song that will get you pumped up.  Track 10 "a.d.d" is more of a slow song, not alot of rapping though.  He talks mainly about  his fears and how he can't hide from himself.  The beat is real slow and soothing, a good song to relax and think to.  Song 11  "stompin' through the bayou" a good song with a good beat, although i'm not for sure on the meaning.  It sounds like he is destorying  the enemy, like in war combat or somthing, I don't know.  Track 12 "the horny song", this name also speaks for itself.  Shows how  much of a mac he is with the fly honeys.  A very sexual song, another one of my favorites.  The last song "freestyle" is just a bunch  of different rappers taking turns on the mic.  Vanilla does a short verse, but flows very well.  And the rest of the people I have no  idea who they are, but I can tell you this, none of them flow like the Iceman... To conclude my opinion on the album, I feel the  album was a great success, I really don't have any complants, except for I feel Vanilla should'nt have cut out 1/3 of "ice ice baby"  and I would have liked to see him do some more freestyle.  But thats it.  It's a great album and I enjoyed it along with many others...
