Marla Singer from Fight Club

Played by the beautiful Helena Bonham Carter, Marla Singer is the type of girl the would chew you up, spit you out, and sell the pieces. For some reason, I find that very attractive. Inspired after getting the Fight Club DVD and watching it a million times. I put that little quote from her to spice up the picture. I guess you can say it's intentionally dirty and rough, much like the character. But you can also say that I'm lazy. I prefer the former.

Joel from MST3K

Sort of a cartoony drawing, but I haven't updated my "real" drawings page since I first put it up, so I figured it could use a few additions. This is just a rough sketch of the first host of one of my favorite shows, MST3K. Ask me about my grandchildren.

Mike from MST3K

Mike was the second host of MST3K, and although there are arguements over which was funnier, I like Mike just as much as Joel. Note that both of these sketches were done with pen on sketch paper in a few minutes, so they aren't as good as they could have been.

Puffins of the Apocalypse : Chapter One

The following three pictures are puffins I had to draw using three different mediums of expression. The first one here is in pencil.

Puffins of the Apocalypse : Chapter Two

This one I did took me forever... I used ink pens and dotted the paper. This one is my favorite.

Puffins of the Apocalypse : Chapter Three

This one didn't turn out too well... I did it using ink pens and cross-etching.

Soul Eater the Doom Bunny

Once again, another art project with two mediums. This one is done in pencil.

Mr. Hi-Fi Banjo Strings AKA "The Black Hare"

Thanks to Olly for the name... This Bunny is the evil alternate universe twin of the one before, done with scratchboard and scratchin' tools.

Liner Notes
"Real" art is not what I'm best at. I really don't see the appeal in painting/drawing something that is already there. Unfortunately, it does teach you a lot about the medium, and this "real" art is what I had to do throughout three years of art classes in high school.
