Water classification in tea drinking

Chinese ancients could be divided into two factions when we are speaking water-classification.
One faction considered that there's no need to place water in competition, all we have to do is to tell apart of nice water and bad water. The other faction said that water is born graded, some kind of water must be the best.
No matter which faction, the standards they comment on water can be generalized in two aspects. One is the quality of water, the other is the flavor of water. Quality includes three characters, they are clear, alive and light. Clear means there's no dirt and impurity in water. Alive means that this kind of water should be flowing, they call still water dead. Light means we should use water on the surface instead of water in the depth. The flavor of water includes two characters, one is sweet, and the other is cool. Sweet means there's no bitterness and acerbity, cool means refreshing.
So we can judge water using these 5 words: clear, alive, light, sweet, and cool. The water has these 5 characters can be classified as "nice" water.
