    In the eyes of we Chinese people, tea drinking is an artistic activity rather than a material activity. So tea utensils are very important and should be very dainty. According to Luyu's theory, there are 24 utensils in a complete tea drinking process.
    1. Furnace: made of iron or clay, a utensil for cooking.
    2. Tealeaf plate: a utensil to contain fresh tealeaves
    3. Iron wand: an iron utensil for breaking charcoal
    4. Nip: used to nip charcoal into the furnace.
    5. Kettle: tea water container, made of iron, porcelain, or silver.
    6. Kettle tray: something to hold the kettle.
    7. Paper sachet: store half-dry tealeaves in paper sachet to avoid losing flavor
    8. Roller and whisk: used to grind tealeaves into powder and get rid of dust
    9. Sieve and box: for selecting and storing dry tealeaves.
    10. Spoon: used to scoop tealeaves.
    11. Jar: contain water that is not boiled.
    12. Strainer: made of wood, copper, or bamboo for filtrating water.
    13. Ladle: used to scoop out water
    14. Muddler: used to stir when cooking
    15. Salt container and salt scoop: in tang dynasty, people use salt to get rid of
          bitterness and increase sweetness.
    16. Calyx: used to contain hot water.
    17. Bowl: we call it "tea cup" today, made of porcelain.
    18. Cupboard: for storing tea bowls.
    19. Bowl brush: used to clean bowls.
    20. Cistern: contain water that is used to clean tea utensils.
    21.Residue container: to store tealeaves residue.
