Tea drinking in Song Dynasty

    People in Song Dynasty inherited the drinking method which people in Tang Dynasty used, but people in Song had tea more daintily. It's said that tea rose in Tang but prosperous in Song. Solid-tea was very fine in Song Dynasty, but royal solid-tea was more daity.
    Tea drinking was very popular among royal families. The most famous solid-tea in Song Dynasty is those from Fujian. It's said that the most expensive solid-tea cost 1 kilogram of gold per 5 kilograms of solid-tea.
    Tea drinking method in Song Dynasty was dunking. Tea was put in bowl, and people pour boiling water into the bowl. Then stir it completely till it looks milkiness. It can be drunk when the boel was full of thick bubbles. People like to sit together and compare with other to see whose tea has more bubbles and whose bubbles disappear more slowly, this was call teafighting. This game spread among everyone, elders, women and children. Even the emperor joined the game too. Teafighting made tea drinking more and more artistic.
